A multi-species, plug-and-play black+white/infrared camera nestbox. The heavy duty hole protector prevents predator damage and allows access for BlueTits, Wrens etc, whilst a secondary hole and removable panel caters for Great Tits to Robins, Wagtails and Flycatchers. The robust box (all screwed construction) is made from 20mm thick durable FSC timber, provides insulation, and has a hinged lid for easy access to the separate camera chamber without disturbing the birds.
Camera provides crisp black and white images by day and automatically reverts to infrared in low light levels. Simple to focus, the nestbox comes complete with long screened extension cable, (normally 30m), low voltage power supply and scart adapter - everything needed to connect to a television or recorder.
Siting:
Locate the box 2m+ on a tree, wall or fence secure from cats and other predators and face the box between N and SE. Add additional extensions, if required.
